Specifically, it requires boards of elections to publish notices of elections and related information prominently online and through social media, provides for public comment on certain election-related decisions, mandates accessibility and testing of voting equipment, requires additional transparency measures during the vote counting process, and allows any voter registered in a county to vote at any polling place in that county. The bill also expands opportunities for nonpartisan election observers and requires public hearings on the election process after each election.
