This bill authorizes the town of Milford to grant an additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be consumed on the premises. The license will be granted to CT MARKET BW, LLC d/b/a Central Market located at 64 Central Street in Milford. The license is subject to all provisions of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, except for the limit on the number of licenses. The licensing authority cannot approve the transfer of the license to a different location, but can grant it to a new applicant at the same location if the applicant is in good standing with the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance. If the license is canceled, revoked, or no longer in use, it can be reissued to a new applicant at the same location under the same conditions. The initial license must be issued within one year of the effective date of the act.
