This bill authorizes the town of Southampton to grant an additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises. The license can be granted to Pure Food Market, Inc. located at 31 College Highway within the town. The licensing authority cannot approve the transfer of the license to another location, but they can grant the license to a new applicant at the same location if the applicant is in good standing with the Department of Revenue and Department of Unemployment Assistance. If the license is terminated, not renewed, or no longer in use, it must be returned to the licensing authority, who can then grant it to a new applicant at the same location within 3 years. The license must be issued within 1 year of the effective date of the act.
