This bill authorizes the town of Sudbury to grant an additional license for the sale of alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises. The license can only be granted to an establishment located in Building 2, 3, 4, or 5 within the Meadow Walk development on Boston Post Road. The license is subject to all provisions of state liquor laws, except for the limit on the number of licenses in a town. The license can only be used in the dining room and other public areas approved by the licensing authority. The license cannot be transferred outside of the Meadow Walk development, but can be granted to a new applicant within the development if the applicant is in good standing with the state's tax and employment departments. The town must grant the license within 3 years of the bill's effective date, but a license that is later terminated or not renewed can be granted to a new applicant thereafter.
