This bill requires the New York State Division of Budget to maintain a public database of all projects funded in the state budget. The database will include the dollar amount allocated to each project and the last name of the legislator who submitted the funding request. The database will be published online and updated annually after the state budget is passed. The bill also requires the inclusion of any funds allocated to private organizations that are not otherwise required by law to disclose their funding sources.
