AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the prohibition on canned shoots

This bill amends the Environmental Conservation Law to prohibit the taking (shooting or spearing) of non-native big game mammals in a fenced or other area from which the animal has no means to escape. The bill removes the previous limitation of 10 or fewer contiguous acres, expanding the prohibition to any fenced or enclosed area. The bill will take effect on the first of November following the date it becomes law.
