This bill amends the Tax Law to require the Department of Health to publish certain reports on its website detailing the sale of opioids in New York State. The reports must include information such as the name, address, and DEA registration number of the registrant, the name and DEA registration number of the entity to whom the opioid was sold, the date of sale, the gross receipt total, and the name and National Drug Code of the opioid sold. However, the bill excludes the name, address, and DEA registration number of the entity to whom the opioid was sold from being published. The bill takes effect on the same date as a related law passed in 2022.
