This bill amends the tax law to require the Department of Health to publish certain reports on its website detailing the sale of opioids in New York State. The reports must include information such as the name, address, and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number of the entity that sold the opioid, the date and amount of the sale, and the type and quantity of opioid sold. However, the bill excludes the name, address, and DEA registration number of the entity to whom the opioid was sold from the published reports. The bill also specifies that the reports must be made publicly available in machine-readable formats on the Department of Health's website annually.
