This bill requires municipalities in Oklahoma with homeless camps that have water runoff entering municipal sewer systems, drainage systems, or drinking water reservoirs to conduct inspections of those camps within 30 days. The camps must meet building codes established by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission. If the municipalities do not inspect the camps within the 30-day period or if the camps do not meet the building codes, the municipalities will be liable for any harm within and outside the immediate boundaries of the camps, and the municipalities must abolish the camps.
