This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to require public school boards to allow all resident home school students, as defined by state law, to fully participate in extracurricular activities on the same basis as public school students. Extracurricular activities are defined as non-credit, non-mandatory activities conducted outside of regular school hours or with the approval of school authorities. The bill also specifies that the costs of these activities may be provided from school revenues, which must be recorded separately.
