This bill amends the New York Labor Law to include bonus compensation in the definition of "wages" and to make all wages non-forfeitable once the amount is known or can be reasonably determined. The key provisions are: 1) expanding the definition of "wages" to include bonuses, regardless of the source of revenue, when the formula for calculating the bonus is available to the employer or the bonus amount has been declared; and 2) making all wages, including bonuses, non-forfeitable once the amount is known or can be reasonably determined.
