This bill amends the existing law to require that proof of identity for voting must include a photograph. The bill specifies that the document showing proof of identity must have the voter's name, a photograph of the person, and an expiration date after the election date. Voters who do not have the required photo ID can still cast a provisional ballot and have it counted if they provide certain information like their name, address, and Oklahoma driver's license or Social Security number. The bill also provides an effective date of November 1, 2023.
