This bill amends the New York Election Law to allow a judicial district convention to be conducted in whole or in part via video conference. The bill requires a minimum of 72 hours' notice to the members of the respective committee by mail, email, text, or telephone call. The notice must include instructions for participants on how to access the video conference. When the convention is held virtually, the presiding officer must provide a fair and appropriate opportunity for eligible persons to listen, hear, and be heard, similar to an in-person meeting.
