This bill expands Minnesota's Medical Assistance (Medicaid) coverage for hospice care services to include room and board expenses for individuals receiving hospice services in a community-based setting, to the extent those expenses are not already covered under existing laws. The bill amends the existing law in the Minnesota Statutes to add this new provision for room and board coverage as part of the hospice care services covered by Medical Assistance.
