This bill proposes to limit the issuance of out-of-state malt beverage consumer shipping licenses to breweries that are located in states that allow Vermont brewers to acquire similar consumer shipping licenses. The bill amends the existing law to require reciprocity, meaning that an out-of-state brewery can only obtain a consumer shipping license in Vermont if Vermont brewers can also ship malt beverages to consumers in that out-of-state brewery's home state. The bill also specifies that the new provisions will take effect on July 1, 2023.
