This bill amends the public housing law to require a housing authority to consult with and obtain approval from an affected resident advisory board before leasing or selling any lands, buildings, structures, or facilities owned, leased, or otherwise under the control of the authority. This approval must be evidenced by a letter issued by the board after a majority vote of its members and must be obtained pursuant to the applicable federal rules and regulations for the disposition of property belonging to the authority.
