This bill authorizes the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance to convey a 35,000 square foot parcel of land in the town of Brookfield to Mary Faugno-Wiles, in exchange for Faugno-Wiles conveying a 38,000 square foot parcel of land on South Maple Street in Brookfield to be used for general Department of State Police purposes. The bill requires Faugno-Wiles to pay the difference in the full and fair market value between the two parcels, as determined by independent appraisals reviewed and approved by the Inspector General. The bill also states that Faugno-Wiles will be responsible for all costs associated with the conveyances.
