This bill amends Section 11 of Chapter 131 of the Massachusetts General Laws to require the George L. Darey Inland Fisheries and Game Fund to be reimbursed annually from the state's General Fund for any revenue lost due to the provision of discounted or free fishing and hunting licenses. The purpose of this bill is to ensure the Inland Fisheries and Game Fund, which supports the state's wildlife conservation efforts, is fully compensated for the revenue it forgoes when offering reduced-cost or complimentary licenses to certain individuals or groups.
