This bill amends Chapter 183A of the General Laws to allow the governing body of a condominium organization to conduct meetings and voting electronically. Specifically, the governing body can hold meetings of the governing body and meetings of the unit owners by telephone, video conference, or other interactive electronic means, with participants' electronic presence counting towards quorum requirements. The governing body can also allow unit owners to vote on matters by mail-in ballot or electronic means, such as through a website, voting software, or email. The governing body can establish policies related to the use and implementation of these electronic meeting and voting procedures.
