This bill requires all public buildings and places of public accommodation (such as restaurants, hotels, and amusement parks) to install and maintain at least one private or semi-private baby diaper changing station that is accessible to any caretaker regardless of their sex, gender, or disability. The bill also requires signage indicating the location of these changing stations, and specifies that the provisions apply to new construction as well as existing buildings undergoing substantial renovation or remodeling, with exceptions for public accommodations generally restricted to those 13 years or older. The requirements must comply with accessibility, fire, health, and safety standards.
