This bill aims to promote pay transparency by requiring large employers in Massachusetts to report the race and gender ratios of their senior-level employees. It establishes the "Pipeline Promotional Opportunities Fund" to provide financial assistance for professional development and coaching services to help qualified employees (those in senior positions where the employer's diversity ratios are below the regional average) advance in their careers and promote gender and racial parity in leadership. The bill also requires the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development to publish the gender and racial ratios of the labor force in Massachusetts and the senior position data reported by employers, and appropriates $25 million annually to fund the professional development program.
