This bill, the Access to White House Visitor Logs Act, requires the President to establish and regularly update a publicly available database containing information about visitors to the White House, the Vice President's residence, and other locations where the President or Vice President conducts official business. The bill defines "covered records" to include the names of visitors, the individuals they met with, and the purpose of their visits. However, the President is not required to include records that could implicate personal privacy, law enforcement concerns, or national security, or that relate to purely personal guests. For particularly sensitive meetings, the President only needs to include the number of visitors, and post the applicable records when they are no longer considered sensitive.
