This bill amends the Real Property Law to remove certain requirements for prospective purchasers of manufactured home parks. Specifically, it removes the requirement for a prospective purchaser to certify whether they intend to change the use of the land. The bill also modifies the process for manufactured homeowners to purchase the park, allowing them to provide a notice of intent to make an offer within 60 days of receiving notice from the park owner, rather than requiring them to deliver an executed offer within 140 days. Additionally, the bill reduces the threshold for forming a manufactured homeowners' association from 51% to greater than 50% of all manufactured homeowners.
