This bill requires the Cannabis Control Commission to commission a study on the structure of fines for violations of cannabis advertising regulations and the use of the collected fine monies. The study will examine the current fine structure and potential improvements, as well as the investment of the collected funds into communities affected by prohibited cannabis advertising practices, such as DARE programs, extracurricular activities, and police engagement. The Commission is also required to file a report with recommendations on the fine structure and the investment of the collected monies by January 1, 2025.
