This bill authorizes the assessor of the town of Brookhaven, in Suffolk County, to accept an application for a real property tax exemption from De Bethesda Eglise for the 2020 and 2021 general taxes. If the application is accepted and the organization is found to be otherwise entitled to the exemption, the assessor may make the appropriate corrections to the tax rolls. The bill also allows for the refund of any taxes paid and the cancellation of any unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, liens, or interest.
