This bill requires certain state agencies, departments, boards, officers, commissions, state authorities, or institutions to publicly post on their websites any "emergency contracts" or "exempted contracts" that are otherwise subject to prior approval by the state comptroller. The bill defines "emergency contracts" as those executed during a declared state disaster emergency, and "exempted contracts" as those executed under a law that expressly suspends or exempts the comptroller's approval requirement. The bill requires the posting of these contracts and related information, such as the reason for the contract, within 30 days of execution. The provisions of this bill cannot be suspended or altered by the governor's emergency powers.
