This bill, the Interactive Federal Review Act, aims to improve the environmental review process for highway projects by encouraging the use of interactive, digital, cloud-based platforms. The Secretary shall report on the efficacy of using these platforms, including metrics on achieved efficiencies, community engagement, and agency efficiencies, as well as publish examples of documents developed using these platforms. The goal of the bill is to expedite the environmental review process and facilitate interactive public engagement on the environmental impacts of federally-funded highway projects.
