This bill authorizes the conservation commission of the town of Westford to transfer certain permanent and temporary easements adjacent to Boston Road to the select board of the town. The easements will be used for the purposes of repairing, reconstructing, operating, maintaining, or improving Boston Road. In return, the town of Westford must either dedicate other land of equal or greater size and natural resource value to the conservation commission, transfer funds equal to the full and fair market value of the easements, or provide a combination of land and funds. The bill takes effect upon passage.
