This bill designates the General George C. Marshall House in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an affiliated area of the National Park System. The affiliated area will promote public appreciation of the historic contributions made by United States military leader and statesman George Catlett Marshall, Jr. The George C. Marshall International Center will be the management entity responsible for the affiliated area, and the Secretary of the Interior may provide technical assistance and enter into cooperative agreements to support the marketing, interpretation, and preservation of the area. The Secretary's role is limited and does not include acquiring property or assuming overall financial responsibility for the affiliated area's operation, maintenance, or management.
