This bill designates the General George C. Marshall House in Virginia as an affiliated area of the National Park System. The affiliated area will be managed by the George C. Marshall International Center in a manner consistent with the National Park System's laws and policies. The Secretary of the Interior can provide technical and financial assistance for marketing, interpretation, and preservation of the area, but cannot acquire property or assume managerial or financial responsibility for its operation. The bill also explicitly protects the land use rights of private property owners adjacent to the Marshall House and prohibits the creation of buffer zones around the area.
