This bill authorizes the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) to convey certain parcels of land located in the town of Bolton to the town for general municipal purposes. The bill also allows DCAMM to sell, lease, or otherwise transfer the parcels to other purchasers or lessees if the town of Bolton does not complete the purchase by December 31, 2024 or a later agreed-upon date. The bill requires DCAMM to use competitive bidding processes for any such disposition, and any sale, lease, or transfer will be subject to certain conditions, including a reversionary clause and the town of Bolton receiving reasonable notice and time to cure any issue with the use of the parcels. The cash proceeds from any sale or transfer will be deposited into the General Fund.
