This bill provides a sales tax exemption for certain used tangible personal property purchased directly from a seller at an auction or from another consumer. Specifically, it exempts the sale of "used tangible personal property" that has been sold multiple times after an initial auction sale, upon which a sales tax has already been paid. The exemption does not apply to motor vehicles, trailers, boats, or outboard motors required to be titled in Missouri. The bill also affirms existing exemptions for property, sales, and transactions that are prohibited from being taxed under federal or state law.
