This bill revises training requirements for members of governing boards at public colleges and universities in New Jersey, requiring them to complete a training program developed by the Secretary of Higher Education that covers their roles, duties, ethical standards, and financial management responsibilities, with the training needing to be completed within six months of appointment and at the start of each successive term, and additionally within six months of a State monitor being appointed to an institution.
