This bill amends Arizona's minimum wage law to gradually increase the minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2025, and then index future increases to the cost of living. The bill increases the minimum wage from the current $10 per hour to $10.50 in 2018, $11 in 2019, $12 in 2020, and $15 in 2025. After 2025, the minimum wage will be adjusted annually based on the consumer price index. The bill also maintains the provision that allows employers to pay tipped workers a lower base wage, as long as the total compensation reaches at least the minimum wage.
