This bill amends Tennessee's laws to require the labeling of any livestock carcass, livestock carcass part, or meat food product that was derived from livestock that received an mRNA vaccine or vaccine material. The label must include a conspicuous notification, in at least 10-point font, that the product was derived from livestock that received an mRNA vaccine or vaccine material. The bill also defines "mRNA vaccine or vaccine material" as a genetic modification substance that delivers messenger RNA (mRNA) into cells to elicit an immune response through the creation of spike proteins, while causing genetic change in the recipient.
