This bill amends Tennessee's laws related to meat products. It prohibits the manufacture, sale, or distribution of any livestock carcass, part of a livestock carcass, or meat food product that was derived or prepared from livestock that received an mRNA vaccine or vaccine material, unless the product labeling contains a conspicuous notification in a font size of at least 10 points that the product was derived from livestock that received such a vaccine. It also defines "mRNA vaccine or vaccine material" as a genetic modification substance that delivers messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) into cells to elicit an immune response through the creation of spike proteins, while causing genetic change in the recipient.
