This bill requires the Colorado Insurance Commissioner to conduct a study of the market for property and casualty insurance policies issued to associations of common interest communities and owners of lodging facilities in Colorado. The study must consider the availability and affordability of coverage, identify areas with particular availability concerns, and make recommendations to ensure the long-term sustainability and availability of such policies. The Commissioner may contract with a third party to conduct the study and is required to engage with insurers, consumer groups, and other interested parties. The bill also appropriates funds from the Division of Insurance Cash Fund for the Commissioner to implement the study and report its findings to the legislature by January 1, 2026. The bill is repealed on July 1, 2026.
