This bill requires the Maryland Stadium Authority to conduct a feasibility study for developing, establishing, and operating a sports tourism facility at Reisterstown Regional Park in northwest Baltimore County. The Authority must identify potential funding sources, infrastructure needs, capital and operating costs, and the economic impact on the local and regional economy. The Authority must also consult with various government agencies and stakeholders, and submit a final report of its findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the Senate Finance Committee, the House Economic Matters Committee, and the House Health and Government Operations Committee by December 31, 2025. The bill takes effect on July 1, 2024, and remains effective for 1 year and 7 months, expiring on January 31, 2026.
