This bill appropriates $3.35 million from the general fund to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for a grant to the city of Carver to fund capital improvements for restoring the Carver levee. The project aims to meet Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) certification requirements and includes predesign, design, engineering, land acquisition, and construction to raise the height of the levee, construct internal drainage, establish maintainable setbacks, and achieve FEMA certification. This appropriation is in addition to a previous appropriation and is available until the project is completed or abandoned.
