This bill appropriates $2,500,000 from the general fund to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for a grant to Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. The funds are to be used for designing, constructing, renovating, and equipping capital improvements to an existing service site in St. Paul, including accessibility and modernization upgrades, expansion of transitional housing for youth and parenting youth, expansion of a therapeutic preschool, and improvements to office space for employment, financial, housing, and behavioral health services. This is a one-time appropriation that remains available until the project is completed or abandoned.
