This bill authorizes the town of Pembroke to issue one additional liquor license to South Shore Market and Deli, located at 256 Church Street. The license will be subject to all the provisions of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, except for the limitation on the number of licenses that can be issued in the town. The bill also specifies that the license cannot be transferred to a different location, but it can be granted to a new applicant at the same location if the applicant is in good standing with the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance. If the license is cancelled, revoked, or no longer in use, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then grant it to a new applicant at the same or a different location.
