This bill authorizes the Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to release or amend certain use restrictions held by the Commonwealth on parcels H-1 and H-2 on Payson Road in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The current use restrictions are for municipal recreational purposes and public safety and other municipal building purposes. The bill allows the use restrictions to be amended to permit housing purposes, including market-rate and senior housing, and the town of Foxborough may subsequently convey the parcels to a third party for housing purposes. The town of Foxborough will be responsible for all costs and expenses of any transaction authorized by this bill.
