This bill amends certain use restrictions on parcels of land owned by the Commonwealth in the town of Foxborough. Specifically, it allows the Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to release or modify the existing restrictions, which currently limit the use of the land to municipal recreational purposes and public safety and other municipal building purposes. In exchange, the town of Foxborough must place a new use restriction on the land for housing purposes, which may include market-rate and senior housing. The town is also responsible for all costs associated with the transaction, as determined by the Commissioner.
