This bill authorizes the town of Tyngsborough to grant 3 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises. The licenses are specifically restricted to establishments located within the Business 3 General Shopping (B-3) District, which is defined in the bill. The licenses can only be used in the dining room of a common victualler and other designated areas, and cannot be sold or transferred. Licenses granted under this act must be issued within 3 years of the effective date of the law, but can be granted to new applicants within the B-3 District after that time period.
