The Director of the Office of Management and Budget will create a subpage within an existing federal funding transparency website to host this information, and agencies must ensure the data is machine-readable and published within 30 days of each calendar quarter's end. The bill defines "disaster assistance" broadly to include funds provided in response to natural disasters like fires, major presidential disaster declarations, and emergencies, covering assistance through grants, loans, and contracts. If necessary, the Director may even partner with a private nonprofit organization to develop the transparency subpage, with the ultimate goal of providing the public with clear, accessible information about how federal disaster assistance is being used.
