This bill modifies the definition of an "eligible student" for the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology Intern Partnership for STEM Workforce Pipeline Program by expanding the types of students who can participate. The bill maintains the existing requirements for applicant organizations, such as providing matching funds, demonstrating potential commercial applications, and creating meaningful internship experiences that could enhance employment opportunities in Oklahoma. The bill will become effective on November 1, 2025, giving organizations time to prepare for the expanded student eligibility.
