This bill establishes the Health Care Information Management Act, which requires public and private hospitals to compile and submit detailed annual healthcare data to the state department of health. For other medical services, hospitals must report data on patient wait times, pregnancy and childbirth statistics, and disease-related fatalities. Starting in January 2027, the health commissioner will be required to submit an annual report with this compiled data to the governor, senate president, and assembly speaker.
