For members who became part of the system before July 1, 2012, the retirement allowance can be up to two and one-half percent of their average final compensation per year of service in these roles, with a maximum allowance of 80 percent of their average final compensation. For members who joined after June 30, 2012, the retirement allowance calculations are slightly different, with a two and one-fourth percent rate per year of service in these roles.
