Specifically, the bill amends the existing law to change the date when the Act will be repealed, effectively maintaining the current telehealth reimbursement provisions for an additional year. After the new sunset date, the previously affected sections of Hawaii Revised Statutes related to telehealth (including sections 346-59.1, 431:10A-116.3, 432:1-601.5, 432D-23.5, and 453-1.3) will revert to their pre-Act 107 language. The bill will take effect immediately upon approval, continuing to support remote healthcare access for Hawaii residents.
