This bill increases state supplemental payment ceilings for several types of care homes in Hawaii to provide more financial support for low-income residents in residential care facilities. Specifically, the bill raises the maximum state supplemental payment for facility type I adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, and certified adult foster homes from $784 to $1,440, and increases the maximum payment for type II adult residential care homes from $892 to $1,530.
